Colorado State University updated their Hurricane Forecast this past week. The Forecast predicts 20 named storms including the ones that have already formed. The forecast predicts up to 10 Hurricanes, 5 Major Hurricanes and ACE (Accumulated Cyclone Energy) of 180. The main reasons an above average season is expected is due to the on going La Nina and above average sea surface temperatures.
