Tropical Storm Cristobal headed for Louisiana and the gulf coast. All you need to know.

TROPICAL STORM CRISTOBAL UPDATE: TROPICAL STORM WARNINGS issued for just east of Morgan City, Louisiana to the Okaloosa/Walton County, Florida line. STORM SURGE WARNING in effect from the mouth of the Mississippi River (for areas outside of levee protection) to Ocean Springs, Mississippi, including Lake Borgne. Storm surge for parts of Louisiana and Coastal Mississippi could be between 3 and 5 FEET including Grand Isle Louisiana, Boothville Louisiana, Gulfport Mississippi, and Biloxi Mississippi. 2 to 4 feet for the Big Bend Region in Florida. Impacts will extend well east of the center and cone. Flooding, locally heavy rain, storm surge, winds between 50 and 70 mph, and tornadoes will also be possible this weekend and Monday. New Orleans Louisiana, Houma Louisiana, Boothville Louisiana, Covington Louisiana, and Gulfport Mississippi is under a TROPICAL STORM WARNING. ALSO, remember impacts can extend well inland with these storms it isn't always just a coastal threat. Arkansas, Missouri, Inland areas of Mississippi, Florida, and Alabama could also have impacts!
