Mississippi is leading the nation with the most tornadoes, 2nd is Texas, 3rd is Alabama, 4th is Georgia, and 5th in Minnesota. Mississippi has had over 100 tornadoes so far in 2020. Texas has had nearly 100 tornadoes. Alabama has had nearly 80 tornadoes and Georgia has had over 70 tornadoes so far in 2020. Georgia has had more tornadoes so far at this point in 2020 than the amount the entire year in 2019. Georgia had less than 70 tornadoes in 2019.
