Right now over 34% of the US is covered by snow especially the plains states and Rockies. Much of Wyoming, Montana, Kansas, Nebraska, parts of Oklahoma, western Texas, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, parts of Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Utah, Arizona and Washington state has snow on the ground. More is ahead for parts of Western Texas and New Mexico. Snow is also ahead for parts of Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine. Oklahoma continues to deal with a major ice storm especially around the Oklahoma City metro and western and northern Oklahoma.
