SIGNIFICANT Severe Weather event possible in Illinois and the Midwest Saturday.

A significant severe weather event is very likely potentially historic on Saturday especially in Illinois, Southeast and eastern Iowa and Western Indiana. Strong long track tornadoes are possible in Illinois and Indiana large hail is very likely as well baseball size hail is possible. Severe weather is possible also in the south especially Middle and Western Tennessee, Kentucky, Northern and Central Mississippi, Northwest and Northern Alabama, parts of Arkansas and Northern Louisiana. Chicago Illinois, Peoria Illinois, Canton Illinois, Bloomington Illinois, Lincoln Illinois, Decatur Illinois, Pontiac Illinois, Champaign Illinois and Galesburg Illinois are all at risk for significant severe weather. The greatest tornado threat will be in Illinois and Indiana but severe weather is possible anywhere in the areas shaded even as far north as Michigan and Wisconsin. Ohio, western Pennsylvania and parts of West Virginia have a risk of severe weather as well. Have multiple ways to receive warnings!
