Severe Weather is possible Tuesday across southern Alabama and South Georgia and also parts of central Georgia and northern Florida. Damaging winds up to 60 mph are possible, hail and tornadoes are also possible. The main severe weather risk will be for the following areas Macon, Albany, Columbus, Bainbridge, Tifton, Savannah, Vidalia, Hamilton, Thomaston, Montgomery, Dothan, Enterprise, Troy, Andalusia, Auburn, Selma, Mobile, Pensacola and Tallahassee. Areas across North Georgia and north Alabama will be more stable so not expecting severe weather across the northern parts of Georgia and Alabama. Areas North of I-20 will mainly just have times of locally heavy rainfall a rumble of thunder is possible but the main storm risk will be in South Georgia and south Alabama. After this rain Tuesday morning and afternoon it will be much cooler Wednesday and Thursday mornings across Georgia and Alabama. Widespread 40’s for North Georgia and Northern Alabama Wednesday and Thursday mornings some of the typical colder areas and the mountains could drop into the 30’s.
