SEVERE WEATHER outbreak likely this weekend and Monday in parts of the south.

There is still some questions regarding exact timing on this but severe weather is likely this weekend across much of the south. On Saturday and Saturday night it will start across Texas and Louisiana also portions of Oklahoma and Kansas but the main threat will be across Texas Saturday. Sunday the risk will shift towards Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Sunday and Sunday night Alabama and parts of Georgia will be impacted. Some of the storms in Alabama and Georgia will linger into Monday morning. ALL Modes of severe weather will be possible including damaging winds, tornadoes, and hail. Winds could be up to 70mph and some long track strong tornadoes are possible especially in Alabama, Mississippi and Louisana. The risk could change in the days ahead and be expanded and upgraded in some of the areas. The maps below were made on 4/9/20. Be prepared not scared this is the peak tornado season in the south and as long as you take proper precautions you will be just fine. I'll have updates in the days ahead check back often.
