Rainfall will be on the biggest problems with Sally and flooding. Some places in Coastal Alabama, And Northwest Florida could see between 6 and 12" of rain. Isolated areas especially near the coast in Southeast Louisiana, Coastal Alabama, Northwest Florida, and Mississippi could get up to 24" of rain. The slow moving storm will allow for hours upon hours of rainfall and rain training over the same areas creating a dangerous life threatening flood threat for the gulf coast and even inland in parts of Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama. Parts of Georgia could see between 3 and 6" of rainfall with some amounts over a half foot between 6 and 8" can't be ruled out.
