The Atlantic 2020 Hurricane Season sure has been an active one thus far especially in terms of named tropical storms. There have been 9 named storms. Cristobal was the earliest 3rd named storm on record. Dolly was the 2nd earliest 4 named storm. Edouard was the earliest 5 named storm on record. Fay was the earliest 6th named storm on record and Gonzalo was the earliest 7th named storm on record. Gonzalo will impact the Caribbean and the Windward islands it is forecast to become the first hurricane of the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season. The 8th named (Hanna) made landfall July 25th in Southeast/Coastal Texas around Port Aransas. Hanna was a category 1 hurricane with 90 mph winds at the time of landfall and brought major flooding to south and coastal Texas and parts of Mexico. Tropical Storm Isaias has formed this week the EARLIEST 9th named storm on record and is forecast to become a hurricane the storm has already pounded Puerto Rico with gusty winds and flooding. Isaias is headed towards Turks and Caicos, The Bahamas, and the eastern side of Florida and eventually up the coast of the US. Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and the entire eastern seaboard all the way up to the northeastern US could have impacts from Isaias.
