Over 30 people killed after severe weather outbreak rips through the south.

Sadly over 30 have been killed from the storms Sunday into early Monday. Some areas across Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Mississippi resemble war zones after Easter Sunday and early Monday storms which produced damaging catastrophic tornadoes. The Gov. in Mississippi said it is the worst damage there in a decade. 12 died in Mississippi, Nine in South Carolina, Eight in Georgia, Three in Tennessee, One in North Carolina, and one in Arkansas. Over 3 dozen tornadoes have touched down. This is a LONG growing list. Some surveys are still ongoing: EF-1 tornadoes have been confirmed in Bartow, Habersham, Dade, and Stephens Counties in Georgia close to Cartersville Georgia, Raoul Georgia, Baldwin Georgia, and Boydville Georgia.

EF-2 in Murray County around Eton Georgia and Chatsworth Georgia.

EF-3 Upson County Georgia just north and northeast of Thomaston Georgia close to The Rock, Yatesville Georgia, and Hannahs Mill with winds between 135 and 140 mph. The Upson county tornado was on the ground for 10 miles it lifted a home off its foundation and moved it onto Hwy 74.

EF-0 tornado in Fulton County close to College Park southwest of Atlanta Georgia.

An EF-3 tornado hit the eastern part of Chattanooga Tennessee with 145 mph winds.

Preliminary rating EF4 massive long track Tornado with 170mph winds went through Bassfield Mississippi, Collins Mississippi, Pachuta Mississippi, Laurel Mississippi, and Soso Mississippi. It was down at least 63 miles. Preliminary rating for the Walthall County tornado in Salem Mississippi was an EF-3 Tornado. Surveys are continuing so this information could change. All information is preliminary.

An EF-3 Tornado hit Seneca South Carolina with 160 mph winds.

EF-1 tornado with winds of 100mph touched down in Tuscaloosa County Alabama NE of the City of Tuscaloosa Alabama EF-1 tree damage was found on the east side of Lake Tuscaloosa tracking northeast.

Collinsville Alabama DeKalb County Alabama EF-0 80 mph winds

EF-3 close to Westminster South Carolina in Oconee and Pickens counties with 160 mph winds.

EF-2 Pumpkintown South Carolina and Cleveland South Carolina in Pickens and Greenville County.

Seneca South Carolina EF-3 tornado with winds of 160 mph.

EF-3 tornado Elko South Carolina Barnwell County 140 mph winds

A long track tornado produced EF3 damage w/ winds of 140 mph on Preserver Rd near Livingston, South Carolina where a double wide home was destroyed. There are at least 2 fatalities & 7 injuries in Orangeburg County South Carolina associated w/ this tornado.

EF-1 tornado in Edisto Beach South Carolina Initial indications is that the tornado there was at least EF-1, possibly EF-2. A final EF determination will be made tomorrow. EF-1 damage was found in Columbus County North Carolina SE of Whiteville North Carolina and in Pender County North Carolina south of Burgaw. EF-0 damage found in Oak Island North Carolina.

Two confirmed tornadoes in Anson county close to Morven North Carolina EF-1 south of Morven and an EF-2 also touched down.

EF-1 close to Scottsville Texas Harrison County 107 mph winds.

One EF-1 tornado was confirmed in Gillespie County Texas between Fredericksburg Texas and Willow City Texas.

Another EF-1 tornado was confirmed in Blanco County near Round Mountain Texas that briefly passed into Burnet County before dissipating

Damage in Llano County was determined to not be tornadic in nature.

EF-2 De Soto Parish Louisiana close to Stonewall Louisiana 120 mph winds.

EF-2 Sterlington Louisiana 130 mph winds.

EF-1 Sterlington Louisiana 105 mph winds.

EF-1 Benton Louisiana Central Bossier Parish Louisiana 105 mph winds.

EF-1 Doyline Louisiana and Heflin Louisiana Webster Parish 107 mph winds.

EF-1 Arcadia Louisiana 112 mph winds Bienville Parish Louisiana.

EF-0 tornado touched down Monday afternoon during severe thunderstorms in Caroline County, Maryland.
