The tornado that hit Nenwan Georgia in Coweta county has been rated an EF-4 with max winds up to 170 mph. An EF-2 hit Heard County In Franklin Georgia with winds up to 130 mph. The Newnan tornado was the 10th strongest on record in Georgia and the strongest tornado since 2011 when the EF-4 hit Catoosa county in Northwest Georgia.
