Meterological Spring begins on Mach 1st and lasts through May 31st. Meterological seasons are for weather records all the weather records for seasons like, hottest, coldest, wettest and snowiest are based on the three whole month seasons of the calendar. Meteorological spring includes all of March, April, and May which is months known for big temperature swings and wild weather! March and April is typically the most active in the south and southeast for severe weather including damaging winds and tornadoes. Typically there is one last frost or freeze in March or April as well.
