Freezing rain possible in NE Georgia and parts of the Carolinas Wednesday.

While most of Georgia will have a cold rain as a wedge of cold air builds in Wednesday parts of Northeast Georgia could have some freezing rain especially elevations above 2500 feet. Dawson, Rabun, Gilmer, Pickens, White and Lumpkin counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory through 12pm Wednesday. Parts of the Carolinas and Virginia could also have freezing rain. The Freezing rain will be more impactful in northwest North Carolina and parts of Virginia.
