Fred to bring heavy rainfall and the possibility of flooding to the southeast.

The biggest impact from Fred will be water and not wind. Between 2 and 4" of rainfall is likely for much of the southeast including parts of Georgia, eastern Alabama and northwest Florida. Parts of Northeast Georgia, western North Carolina and parts of northwest Florida could see amounts between 3 and 6" of rainfall with isolated higher amounts possible.
