Weather is always fascinating and can change quickly. There are different air masses and fronts. Colder air is near the poles and warm tropical air originates around the equator. At times throughout the year the warm air will lift north and the cold air will move south this is what makes the atmosphere unstable. When warm air and cold air get close fronts can form. When cold air and warm air interact, cold fronts can develop. A warm front forms around an area of low pressure. A warm front is when a warmer air mass pushes into a colder air mass.
