A few snow flurries fell in Georgia in early April back in 2009. Back in 1910 there was a spring snow in April parts of the south had some accumulating snow. Over an inch of snow fell in Atlanta on April 24th and 3 to 6 inches in the north Georgia mountains. In 1920 on April 25th Atlanta got more spring snow over an inch fell on that date as well. On April 16th 2018 the highest elevations in the north Georgia mountains had some snow.
