Below average temperatures for the Eastern and southern US and Above Average for the western US.

The temperature outlook for the end of this week and through May 14th will be for BELOW AVERAGE temperatures in the eastern US and ABOVE AVERAGE temperatures in the western US. Some record lows could be broken in the eastern and southeast. It will be unseasonably cold for May standards in some states especially the Ohio Valley, northeastern US, and the Mid-South.
