The growing season is becoming longer and that also has an effect on the allergy season. In Atlanta only 13 days dropped to 32 or below during the winter 2019-2020 the normal average is 42 times. Winters aren't as cold as they used to be it does not mean we won't have cold snaps in the future they just won't last as long and they means an extended allergy season this year and in the future.
