It has been an extremely wet year in Atlanta and much of North Georgia nearly 60" of rain has fallen since January 1st! The year to date normal the normal average as of this point in the year is typically 36.69". Atlanta has had more rain this year so far than all of 2019. 2020 will be one of the wettest years on record. Typically October is one of the driest months but so far nearly 5" has fallen at the airport.
