Southern Snow in April? It happened back in 1910!

A snow storm brought snow to parts of the south in April 1910. Parts of Tennessee had as much as 8 inches around the 24th and 25th of April. Mcminnville Tenenssee had 8.3". Nashville, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Knoxville and Tuscaloosa all had accumulating snow. It was the latest measurable snow on record for much of the south including Nashville. Over 4" of snow fell in Chattanooga. Parts of the south also had a late freeze and had a significant impact on crops and vegetation.
