Georgia and Atlanta has had some cold Christmas days and some very warm Christmas days below is a look at past Christmas weather. The most snow was record in 2010 (1.3" in the city) but more snow fell in the suburbs and across the mountains. Athens had 2" of snow. The Coldest Christmas was in 1983 and the warmest was 2015 at 75. The wettest Christmas in Atlanta was 1945. Christmas morning 2020 featured temperatures well down into the 20's and afternoon temperatures were in the upper 30's and low 40's.
