In 1980 and 2007 the greatest number of highs at or above 100 degrees occurred with 9 days. Two days in July recorded a high of 105 degree. The only other year with a high at or above 105 degrees is 2012. 2012 and 2019 was also very hot there were over 90 days at or above 90 in Atlanta during the summer of 2019. One of the coolest summers on record in Atlanta was 1967. Atlanta recorded its coolest June through August in 1967, as well as its coolest July on record that year.
